Housing Minister to visit Donegal and hear urgent concerns of MICA Action Group

first_imgMinister Damien English of the Department of Housing is to visit Carndonagh tonight to meet with people living in MICA affected homes.The MICA Action Group is seeking local support for the meeting at Carndonagh Public Services Centre from 8-8.30pm as they try to make progress before Christmas.Donegal families are urging the Government to implement a MICA redress scheme for those affected by defective concrete blocks. Thousands of families in Donegal and Mayo are in despair over crumbling blocks and leaks in their homes. The MICA Action Group will be calling on the Minister to support them in making their homes safe.
