New players always welcome.The U-14 team had a good win over Naomh Brid in the Division 2 semi-final on Saturday past. In a repeat of the Northern Final they will play Robert Emmetts in the final which is fixed for this Saturday with time & venue to be confirmed. See Facebook for more information. The U-8 footballers travelled across town to take part in the blitz organised by St. Eunans. We had 2 teams taking part and the day ended on a high note with a visit to Arena 7.U-6 & U10 Football continues every Sunday morning at 11am at Pairc na nGael while the U-8’s is on both Sunday morning & Wednesday evening from 7-8pm.Last week the club hosted a very successful Hurling Fun Week. Scores of children from U-6 to U-12 enjoyed learning and improving their Hurling skills. The highlight of the week was on Friday when we were joined by a group of Spanish students who took part in a coaching session followed by a sporting game with the small ball. This was followed by a tasty BBQ which was enjoyed by all. Thanks to Dan & Sharon for holding the Fun Week and to all our coaches who give up their week to attend.Good luck to both Donegal teams on Sunday in the Ulster Final especially to Oisin Cannon and the Minor lads.We are currently looking for girls aged 9-12 to join our U-12 Gaelic Football squad. However, the lads from the West proved to be the more dominant side and the final score line reflected this. They play Burt at the Glebe this weekHurling training for U-6, U-8, U-10 and U-12 continues at the pitch every Thursday evening from 6.30-7.30pm.
